Being an athlete at a young age, I since lived by the saying, "You are what you eat." I was told that fueling my body with the right foods was to break through my plateaus. By changing my diet, I was able to compete statewide and set new records all within a year. This early experience in nutrition inspired me to pursue a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics to understand its impact on the body at a medical level.
After seven years of specialized expertise, I became a Registered Dietitian to help others transform their health. Unlike general nutritionists, I’m qualified to provide expert, evidence-based medical nutrition therapy. With years of experience in nutrition and health coaching within the medical field, I've helped countless patients achieve their nutritional goals. I’ve noticed a significant disconnect between the professional nutritional guidance provided in clinical settings and what's available to the general public. The most effective strategies, practices, and evidence-based knowledge are often reserved for healthcare patients, leaving many without access to real, science-based advice. This program allows me to eliminate that disconnect by offering medical-level nutrition care to anyone wanting to change their life.
The program is best described as a learning experience to understand how to optimize your own body's nutritional needs, similar to a "Nutrition 101 Course" but, designed for you! I will teach you the fundamentals of nutrition, how our metabolism relates to weight changes, macronutrient importance, and nutrition tips. I provide private or group teaching sessions to all my clients, by request, for those who want to learn more about common nutrition concepts or any specific topics of their choosing!
We will begin the program with an Initial Consult which will include your prescribed Nutrition Prescription that is recommended you to follow, an Introductory and Assessment phase on your overall goal, and a detailed walkthrough from Start to Finish! I fully encourage you to bring any questions you may have about Nutrition or anything else to this call! Be ready to take notes!
All of my clients are also given a weekly progress check-in that they are required to fill out to ensure positive progress, think of this as your personalized Weekly Homework! This not only acts as an additional form of accountability, but it will provide me with accurate information needed for your reassessment to help you progress each week and prevent plateaus along your journey!
You will have full access to communicate with me, just like a Personal Dietitian, with professional guidance, daily communications, and weekly check-ins, I will decide whether or not to reassess your program each week moving forward. I will always explain the reasoning behind any adjustments we make, ensuring that you not only continue to move forward but also fully understand the how and why behind each decision. This way, even after our time together, you'll have a solid foundation to maintain the progress we've achieved for the rest of your life!
